The goal of the workshop is to address innovative techniques, metrics, and applications that can exploit data modeling and online learning capabilities to address the Sparse, Uncertain, and Incomplete data challenges facing real-world applications.
- Short bio of the organizers
Zhongqiu Zhao is a professor at Hefei University of Technology, China. He obtained the Master's degree in Pattern Recogniton & Intelligent System at Institute of Intelligent Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Hefei, China, in 2004 and the Ph.D. degree in Pattern Recogniton & Intelligent System at University of Science and Technology, China, in 2007. From April 2008 to November 2009, he held a postdoctoral position in image processing in CNRS UMR6168 Lab Sciences de l'Information et des Systems, France. From January 2013 to December 2014, he held a research fellow position in image processing at the Department of Computer Science of Hongkong Baptist University, Hongkong, China. Now he works in Laboratory of Data Mining and Intelligent Computing, Hefei University of Technology, China. His research is about pattern recognition, image processing, and computer vision.
Peipei Li is currently a lecturer at Hefei University of Technology, China. She received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Hefei University of Technology in 2005, 2008, 2013 respectively. She was a research fellow at Singapore Management University from 2008 to 2009. She was a student intern at Microsoft Research Asia between Aug. 2011 and Dec. 2012. Her research interests are in data stream mining and knowledge engineering.
